Welll for the Davy Back Fight cosplay I came up with some good skits/photo shots =D like rollar race where most the chars wear rollar skates and bibs I think that would be kick ass.
ANYWAY..
Worked on Foxy cosplay. put fur on the cuffs, I need more pink fur, some wire and whtie fur to make the head bit soon. Sadlt the coat was too short so I had to make stuff for add ons but a slight diffrent colour =/
but so.. Foxy.. 5% done XD

I've finished Usopp's trainer jacket type thing from the Davy Back Fight... I only had like... 4 refrence pics to go by... so I hoep people think I did an ok job ^^;;
Pics are crap cus it was night here and sister fails... and I was wearing the white sash under the jacket so it makes me look alot fatter then I am lol.. and yeah the shades and hat I have aren't the ones I'm using ^^''

Process
I went shopping with mum today and I saw this jacket, it was SO PERFECT! so I bought <3
Anyway the steps in which I used to make it.
1 - Cut the felt out into strips
2 - Laid them out to make the kanji
3 - Used wounderweb to attach them.
Ok it sounds REALLY easy but it was harder then it sounds trust me ^^;;

The finished project!
This is how my Usopp cosplay came out in the end!
What I need to do for the next one...
- Make Sash neater
- Make nose less painful
- Work on damned arm thing
- Make a diffrent prop
Usopp must never pee... whenever I went to the bathroom to pee I had to untangle myself like 2471074 times over... it was not fun XD the nose collects sweat I found this out when I looked up.... eww yes XP and also.. I need to tigthen the overalls more since they kept falling down a little.
Other then that... VERY comfy cosplay <3 Luffy even gave me the Nakama mark thing so it was all good.
probs I had were the sling shot and Usopp rubber band.
I made laods of new friends <2 saw old ones too -hugs- I have loads of images to post and more info on the con soon <3

 Luffy was a kick ass person, I met him, SQ and darx I think we all ebcame close friends. Love them all.

Process
1. I dyed my overalls brown, they don't look as dark as I'd wanted them and so I'm getting more dark brown dye soon.
2. I panted an orange sling shot over with wall paint so that I can paint over with bright green poster paint and have it stick. I just need some bandage for around the handle.

I was bored and started work on Usopp's arm band..
..Steps and cost..
Steps
1. Used a whole mini sheet of white felt. Folded the ends over and sewed them. Poked elastic into the small tunnels.
2. Made the blue stripes and glued on [will sew later on if needs be]
3. used a bit of elastic inside to join both sides up and so it will be strechy.
This was HARD to make ;-; but I'm VERY proud with how it turned out. There is elastic on both ends to pull and tie to get it to fit just right =3

Time to complete: 2 hours and 30 mins.

I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!
I've finished my frist cosplay item Usopp's Bandanna..
heres how I made it, what I used and total cost.
++Steps++
1. Cut out the cloth
2. Dyed it
3. Drew the lines onto it in pencile 4.5 cm apart from each other only on the side that will show.
4. Drew them on with fabric pen.

Cloth: £1.99 [but there was loads for other stuff too]
Dye: 1.49
Dye fix: 49p
Total time: 30 mins I'd day if you add up all the times I worked on it... cus I left it a few days in-between lol.

This is really giving me hell now...
Here are new ideas..
1. Sew each square together
2. Get alot of white and sew on the blue squares
3. Get white and blue fabric pens and draw on the squares.
Any ideas people? ^^;;; and I'm going to go for Idea 3 and one of the others just to see which gets the better result.

Well I have a problem..
I had a few ideas of how to make Cabaji’s scarf.. and here they are… I just need everyone’s advice on another way or which one would be better.
Idea One
Get actual scarfs, join them and make like a sleeve of the pattern I need so it feels like an actual scarf and can be used for more then cosplay.
Idea Two
Sow all the blue and white squares together and make a scarf that way but it might not be as effective.
Ideas you guys?

Usopp's Bandanna Part 2
Well I did some work today not a HELL of alot but still...
Steps
1. Got another bandanna and placed it on plan white fabric
2. Drew around it
3. Cut it out
4. Moddled it.
It looks good. It feels comfy and stays in place. All I need to do now is DYE it, draw the lines and trim up the rough bits on the edge.
And here is the result...

Well I been thinking over what props I'll need to make and I been thinking about it in a logical sence meaning I have to travle at least 2 hours...
Home - Swindon = 30 mins
Swindon - Oxford = an hour
Oxford - Milton Keyens = hour
I think...
so me and Foxy will have to set off early to say the least. Anyway.
Back to props.

I was thinking which of his weapon's I wanted to use... the 5ton hammer or the sling shot. I think the most practical one would be the sling shot since it will be small enough to take around... plus I can actually use it... >>;;; yeah I'm evil >3
AND I was thinking of making a flag... either for Straw-hats since I'll cosplay Nami too or Usopp pirates. Would make more sence if I going as a pair with Foxy [hoping she can come ;-;]
I have an idea how to go about this... buy black fabric or dye the white stuff I HAVE and then take a decent image of what I want and take it to the printing shop where I live though it might cost a bit too much.... or if I think I have enough talent [HA] I could cut out the shapes in white and sew them onto the black background.
I think I'll go for the more cheap fun option X3 all depends on how I feel at the time lol.
So I have 2 choices...
1. get one printed
2. Make one from scracth.
Not sure how to go about the sling shot yet either >>;;;

In the Clockwork Island movie which is the version I wanna go as she doesn't use her staff so I don't think I'm going to need to work on anything. IF Sanji can't or changes his mind not to go as clockwork!Sanji then I'll stay with Nami cus I like the idea of going as her now and just change to Alabaster!Nami and make that really cool dancer dress >D
And then make the staff.

I know how I'm going to do the Bandanna now! so here's what I need and how I plan to do it. I doub't I'd find one like Usopp has so I'm going to make one. The striked out things are things I already have.

-Steps-
1: Cut a bit out of the cloth I already have to make it.
2: Dye it
3: Once it's dyed attempt to draw black lines over it.
Easy enough!

Why did I choose the chars I did? Well One Piece doesn’t seem to be very big over here in England yet so it would be more original. I was thinking Naruto chars at first but there would have been loads of them. I was also thinking of going as a Shaman King and I even still MIGHT change to a Shaman King char is one of my others falls through.
My first choice was Cabaji since I don’t think any one has ever cosplayed him. I like his outfit and I like the char in general.
Next was Usopp, easy cus he is my fav char and when/if my girlfriend comes to the cosplay with me we plan on going as Usopp X Kaya..
I was tied for my 3rd.. I was thinking Eliza from Shaman King or Chopper from One Piece but since I have limited funds and time to get a whole 3 together before July I choose Clockwork Island Nami since I can get ahold of a wedding dress and my friend Sanji will go as clockwork island Sanji lol.
I’m working on them bit by bit nothing done yet.
